{"id":5235,"date":"2021-03-25T16:11:06","date_gmt":"2021-03-25T16:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/desarrollo.ender.es\/empty2\/proyecto\/pabellon-de-espana-expo-dubai-2020\/"},"modified":"2021-12-22T11:17:21","modified_gmt":"2021-12-22T11:17:21","slug":"pabellon-de-espana-expo-dubai-2020","status":"publish","type":"proyectos","link":"https:\/\/www.empty.es\/en\/project\/pabellon-de-espana-expo-dubai-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish Pavilion, <\/br>Expo Dubai 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Located in the thematic district of the Expo known as the \u201cSustainability Petal\u201d, this project is inspired by the circular economy model, which takes into account the climate as well as the materials and their traceability, use and second life: the bioclimatic cones that define the pavilion\u2019s visual identity are made of waterproof synthetic fabric fitted with photovoltaic cells to capture solar energy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8595 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pabellon-Espan\u0303aEXPOUAE-Empty-\u00a9MikaCartier-05-2000px.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1117\" height=\"539\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pabellon-Espan\u0303aEXPOUAE-Empty-\u00a9MikaCartier-05-2000px.jpg 1117w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pabellon-Espan\u0303aEXPOUAE-Empty-\u00a9MikaCartier-05-2000px-300x145.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pabellon-Espan\u0303aEXPOUAE-Empty-\u00a9MikaCartier-05-2000px-1024x494.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Pabellon-Espan\u0303aEXPOUAE-Empty-\u00a9MikaCartier-05-2000px-768x371.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1117px) 100vw, 1117px\" \/>The pavilion is designed as a slightly raised <\/span>square with exhibition spaces that are partially <span class=\"s1\">buried to free up the entrance level, a stage for open-air activities covered by the conical volumes under which visitors will find smaller squares, pleasant ambiances and rest areas. The space connecting the two levels acquires a monumental air thanks to <i>Dinamo,<\/i> a work by artist Daniel Canogar whose suspended <\/span>LED screens recall the double-helix shape of <span class=\"s1\">a DNA strand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The exhibition project is integrated in the architecture and brings the slogan \u201cSpain, <\/span>Intelligence for Life\u201d to life in this space. In the <span class=\"s1\">square, a series of interventions summarise some of Spain&#8217;s most important contributions to global culture and highlight the historical ties between Spanish and Arab culture. On the lower level, visitors will watch an art film that serves as the prologue to the rest of the experience.
