Finally, after years of popular demands and efforts, today these collections have been united under the same roof in the old Customs House, restored and transformed for use as a museum by the architects Fernando Pardo, Bernardo Garc\u00eda Tapia and \u00c1ngel P\u00e9rez Mora.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6248\" src=\"https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2.jpg 938w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2-141x300.jpg 141w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2-480x1024.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2-768x1638.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.empty.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Museo-de-Ma\u0301laga-Empty-plants-2000px-2-720x1536.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>The task of producing the display architecture and installing the artworks\u2014with an emphasis on 19th-century paintings\u2014and archaeological artefacts\u2014ranging from prehistory to the Middle Ages and the splendour of the Nasrid dynasty\u2014at the new museum was carried out by Empty, based on plans designed by Frade Arquitectos.
