The Norman Foster Foundation, Madrid

Installation of scale models and other items from the British architect’s archive in emblematic or more visible areas of the foundation premises. A new structure with laminated glass walls and a glass fibre roof shaped like an aeroplane’s wing has been adjoined to the original building, a mansion dating from the early 20th century. Conceived as a type of “museumsummary”, the new pavilion exhibits objects and artworks that have been a source of inspiration for Foster’s work.
