Historical weapons at the MIA

Until 12 May of next year, visitors to Qatar’s Museum of Islamic Art in Doha will be able to view the exhibition “Powder and Damask”, featuring arms and armour from the private collection of Fadel Al Mansoori. The objects on display, most of which were crafted in Turkey, Iran and India, range from the 17th to the 19th century. On its latest job for the MIA, this time Empty was charged with the production of display supports and mounting the exhibits, as well as the design, layout and production of graphics.
